Notice is hereby given that the Arena Town Board will meet on Monday, June 1, 2026, at the Arena Town Hall at 7:00 pm.
The agenda is as follows:
1. Call to Order
2. Roll Call
3. Approval of Current Agenda
4. Verification of proper public notice: TOA Website, Town Hall, Arena Post Office, Valley Sentinel, Independent Star News
5. Vote on previous month’s meeting minutes.
6. Patrolmen Report.
7. Approval of two new possible poll workers, Natasha Peterson and Jill McDermott. They requested through WI Elections Commission.
8. Mary Uselman, 6799 Demby Road, owns 11 acres, possibly divide up.
9. Tracy Halverson, Coon Rock Rd., 200’ to South of 7116 Coon Rock Rd. Wants to build a shed, 36’ x 56’, driveway permit and okay of the building.
10. Thomas Matush and Jennifer Huelsmann, Hayward, WI, possibly purchasing property on Sawle Road to build. Have talked to Tracy Johnson. 612-325-9505.
11. Darrell Davenport, 7380 River Road, approval of a driveway permit. He paid the fee for the permit at the Town Board meeting.
12. Ingmar Nelson, 7516 Loy Rd., discussion on land division at 6610 Helena Rd. and/or Hayward Crossing at the corner of the highway, for a conditional use of a business. Possible conditional uses and housing.
13. Review and discussion on Liquor Licenses and approvals, Traders Bar & Grill, Traders Island, Sugarland Events, Spring Valley Inn, Hecks Market, Pappas Trading Post.
13. Introduction of Resolution Discontinuing Portions of Unpaved Alleys in Helena under WIS. Stat. § 66.1003(4)
Discussion and introduction of 3 resolutions to discontinue portions of a public way (3) located within the Helena Plat pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes. The Town Board will set a public hearing date and authorize the required notices, including publication of a Class 3 notice and personal service upon affected abutting property owners, as required by law.
14. Discussion on road work.
15. Discussion on Town Clerk Elected to Appointed.
16. Review and discussion on bills, disbursements and bank accounts.
17. Public Comment.
