TOWN BOARD MEETING AGENDA Monday. November 3, 2025 7:00 pm
ARENA TOWN HALL -148 US Hwy 14, Arena, WI
Notice is hereby given that the Arena Town Board will meet on Monday,
November 3, 2025, at the Arena Town Hall at 6:00 pm.
The agenda is as follows:
1.
Call to Order
2. Roll Call
3. Approval of Current Agenda
4. Verification of proper public notice: TOA Website, Town Hall, Arena Post
Office, Valley Sentinel
5. Vote on previous month’s meeting minutes.
6. Patrolmen Report.
7. John Halverson for Randy Harrop at 8976 Reeve Road, Black Earth,
proposing to add 0.5 acres on the south side of Reeve Rd. to his two parcels
on the north side, requiring combining all 3 parcels into 1 via CSM. The
land on the north side is already zoned AR-1, so just the 0.5 acres on the
south side needs to be rezoned to AR-1. The parcel contains a building
which Harrop has a long-term lease on.
8. John Halverson for Mike Wilkinson would like to rezone a 5 acre parcel to
AR-1 on the south side of Reeve Road, across from 8976 Reeve Rd. The
parcel is mainly unproductive cropland. Wilkinson is proposing purchasing
a small parcel of land from Randy Harrop that would make his land south of
Reeve Rd. and east of CTH KK contiguous with his other land from Harrop
farm on the west side of CTH KK. The remaining cropland south of Reeve
Rd. and east of CTH KK would be contiguous and conforming A-1.
9. Review and approval of the 2026 Budget.
10. Discussion and possible action of vacating Helena Streets and Alleys.
11. Review and discussion on the revised Fire/EMS Agreement with the Village of
Arena.
12. Review and discussion on bills, disbursements and bank accounts.
13. Public Comment.
Next meeting December 1, 2025, 6:00 pm (winter hours).
Clerk matters: Appointed Clerk-WI Stats. 60.30-need an ordinance and a
referendum to approve the ordinance. -We’re contacting the poll workers for 2026 elections (4), will need to be approved
by the board at the December meeting. Julie Jensen, Evy Halverson and I will be
taking a class on the Badger Book this month. -The security cabinet. WI Elections Commission is very insistent that the
machines (the DS-200, the Badger Books), and the ballots/registrations/etc. are
secured.
