BOARD OF REVIEW AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Review for the Town of Arena, Iowa County, will meet on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Arena Town Hall.
The agenda for the meeting is as follows and will be updated as necessary:
1. Call to Order
2. Roll Call
3. Verification of Proper Notice. Town of Arena Hall, Town of Arena Website, Arena PO
4. Select a Chairperson for the BOR.
5. Select a BOR Vice-Chairperson.
6. Verify that at least one BOR member has met the annual mandatory training requirements.
7. Filing and summary of Annual Assessment Report by Assessor’s Office.
8. Review the Assessment Roll and perform statutory duties: Examine the roll; correct description or calculation errors; add omitted property; and Estimate double assessed property.
9. Discussion/Action-Certify all corrections of error under state law (Wis. Stat. Sec. 70.43).
10. Discussion/Action-Verify with the Assessor that open book changes are included in the assessment roll.
11. Allow taxpayers to examine assessment data.
12. Review Notices of Intent to File Objection.
13. Proceed to hear objections, if any and if proper notice/waivers given.
14. Adjournment
